What a visitor to the site sees

What it is made of

What it is made of

The parts of the module as you find them in the administration.

Pages

Text, images and custom HTML. Every page has its own address, title and description for search engines.

Menus

A tree structure; items are moved by dragging. One page can sit in several menus.

Galleries

Albums of images; thumbnails are generated automatically in every size needed.

Event calendar

Events with a date, place and description. Shown on the site as a calendar or a list.

Guestbook and messages

A contact form and a public guestbook with moderation.

Flash notices

Short announcements above the content — closures, holidays, warnings.

The difference

What matters in this module

  • A page address stays put even when you rename itA page keeps its id, so renaming the heading does not break links that already point to it.
  • Menus are not the same thing as pagesA menu item can lead to a page, a category, an external site or nowhere. That is why one page can sit in several places.
  • Translations are part of the formYou fill a translation in right next to the field, not on a separate screen. A missing one is visible at a glance.
