The CoolCMS content management system for your website or e‑shop
My own content management system, developed for 15+ years. Websites, e-shops and directories on modules in one core, with no third-party plugins. You pick the modules you need; I build further features to order.
One-off, licence for one website. Eight modules, a theme, installation and training included. Prices are final, I am not a VAT payer.
Module pricing →01 — Who it is for
Which projects CoolCMS suits
A good fit for
- company websites that change regularly
- e-shops with a warehouse and invoicing
- classifieds portals and company directories
- projects that will grow with new features
Not a fit for
- a one-off business card site for a few thousand
- a website you want to assemble yourself from ready-made plugins
02 — Why my own system
Why my own system and not WordPress with plugins
- 01
Modules are part of the core
No add-ons from different authors that may not work together.
- 02
The system’s author controls updates
A new version is released when the whole works, not one plugin.
- 03
One person knows the whole system
When something needs changing, nobody has to hunt for who wrote that piece of code.

Modules
Everything important in one administration
Eight modules are included in the base version. You can add another five later, when you need them. Each module has examples, a description and a price.
Base version of the CMS
Content & pages
The base of every website — pages, menus, galleries, an event calendar and contact forms.
System & localisation
Languages, currencies, VAT rates, regions, e-mails and their queue, PDF templates, file and image management.
Users & permissions
Roles, privileges, user types, discount levels and sign-in through Google or Facebook.
Payments & membership
Payment gateways, membership tiers, paid features across modules. A payment triggers whatever it should — from bumping an ad to extending a membership.
Invoicing
Documents by hand, from an order, from a received payment or repeatedly on a schedule. Custom PDF layouts and numbering series.
Partner API
Connect your own application or a third-party system. Described in OpenAPI, with roles, rate limits and a single response format.
Blog & news
Articles with categories, tags, comments and ratings. For a magazine or company updates alike.
Discussion forum
Topics and replies in a tree. Any post can be moved elsewhere or turned into a topic of its own.
Add-on modules
paid extraThey are not part of the base version. You order them when you have something to fill them with; the site is not rewritten for it, it just gains another section. The price is on each module's own subpage, and the full price list is on one page.
E-shop
The largest module. Products with variants, price lists, orders, shipping, payments, returns and feeds for price comparison sites.
Warehouse
Tracks how much of what you have and where. Receipts, issues, transfers, stocktaking, batches and a margin report.
Classifieds
A marketplace with fields of your own per category. Replies to an ad, saved-search alerts, paid categories and bumping.
Company directory
Company listings with contacts, descriptions and opening hours. You set the trades and the form fields to match the directory.
My company
For a company that sells its time. A service price list, a booking calendar for clients and jobs that turn into an invoice.
Integrations and custom work
It connects to what you already use
Some integrations are already built into the system and only need setting up. If something is missing, I add it. I tell you in advance what the system already supports and what needs custom work.
Ready: switch on and set up
Just enter the credentials in the administration. No programming or extra module is needed.
Custom: I write it
I can add an accounting system, another payment gateway or data exchange with a supplier for the system you use. You pay for the integration work, not another licence.
Guide prices for this work are in the service rates.

06 — Design
A design that matches your project
Choose from 21 ready-made themes in several colour variants, or I will design a custom look.

Running, updates and further development
The website can run on my server or on yours. I take care of updates, backups and changes as part of website care.

The design is separate from the system
The design and the system are separate. You can start with one of the ready-made themes and adjust the colours, type and layout to match your style. If you want a custom design, I can create one.

The CoolCMS manual
Every module has a step-by-step guide showing where things are, what each setting does and in which order to use it.
The manual works offline too. Download it, open index.html and the search works as well.
You are not left alone with it
With a one-person supplier, it is reasonable to ask what happens if that person is unavailable. The important parts are therefore set up so you are not technically dependent on me.
- A stated response time, not “as soon as I can” With a care plan, the service table says when I reply on a working day and what happens while I am on holiday. I never promised one hour, around the clock — one person breaks that promise sooner or later.
- You get full access to the source code The system runs in PHP on your server, so you necessarily have the complete code. The licence does not make it your property — copyright stays with me — but it explicitly lets you read it, change it and have anyone else change it to run your website, and it holds indefinitely whether or not we keep working together. Everything else is yours outright: the design, the copy, the custom features and the data in the database. Where the limits are.
- Any PHP developer can take it over It runs on PHP, Nette and MySQL, not on a private language one person knows. Ninety-five chapters of the manual are written for developers and theme coders, so taking over is not archaeology.
08 — Price
Price and licence
Buying CoolCMS gets you a licence to deploy it on one project, i.e. one domain. The price includes eight base modules, installation on a server, a ready-made theme and training. You will find the prices of further modules in the price list.
Full price listMissing a feature that no module has? I will build it. We agree on the scope and terms for each project.
Discuss a projectThe prices are final for customers in the Czech Republic. I am not a VAT payer, so no VAT is added.
09 — Questions
Frequently asked questions
What if I want a different supplier?
Yes, that is possible. We just need to agree on the handover.
Who does the updates?
I deploy system updates as part of website care, on my server or on yours.
Can I edit the website myself?
You manage texts, images, menus and module content in the administration. Code and design changes are done by me.
Can a module be added later?
Yes. Extension modules are installed into the running website; the system is not rewritten for it.
